How To Make a Faux Suede Bracelet With Tube Beads
This classy bracelet is easy to make yourself! You can use this design and make it in different colors with our wide range of Faux suede cord.
Start by cutting the cord. You will need 4 strands of the same length and you can measure with your wrist how much you need. You will also need 1 strand that's about 2,5cm shorter and you will need to cut it in half. Now you can string 1 tube bead on the 4 other strands. Note: by making a twisting motion, it will be easier to string the tube beads. It also helps to cut the cord diagonally.
For the fifth strand you will have to do as follow:
Put 1 bigger crimp bead (4mm) on the suede cord and make a loop by putting the end back through the crimp bead. Do not fasten the bead yet! Cut a piece of Nylon thread and thread a smaller crimp bead (2mm). Put the nylon thread though the suede loop and back through the crimp bead. Pull it tight and fasten the crimp bead. Now you can pull the suede cord tight and also fasten the bigger crimp bead. Now you can thread the faceted and rhinestone beads through the nylon cord and repeat the step with the crimp beads on the other side. To cover the crimp beads, you can use our covers for the 2mm and a Cylinder spacer bead for the bigger crimp beads.
Glue all the ends in the end tips and let it dry. Attach a 4mm jumpring to all the endtips. Use a 6mm jumpring to put all the strands together. Note: make sure to use the same order on both sides, this way the bracelet won't twist while wearing. Attach the lobster clasp and extender and your bracelet is ready to wear!
