How to make a Necklace with Cube and Wooden Beads

This Necklace is super fun and easy to make yourself. With our range of teardrop beads and cube beads, you can make the necklace in a lot of different colors! You can use the beads in different designs, for example you can click here for matching earrings.

Start by cutting off about 50cm of nylon thread. Then thread 1 part though the toggle clasp and fold the nylon in half. Make sure both ends of the nylon thread are the same length and then thread a crimp bead. Pinch the bead and thread a cube bead and 1 bugle bead. Repeat this pattern a total of 10 times and finish with 1 more cube bead.

Now take a headpin and thread a 9x4mm drop bead. Cut the pin, but leave enough room to put an eye on the pin. It is best to attach all the beads to the pins so you can continue to thread in one piece. In total you need 12 beads of 9x4mm. The middle is basically the same, but here you add another wooden bead before twisting an eye.

    Now continue threading as follows:
The headpin with a 9x4mm teardrop bead, a cube bead and then a bugle bead. Then start again with a cube bead, a headpin with teardrop bead and another cube bead. Use 6 teardrop beads per side.

When you get to the end, thread a crimp bead and the other end of the toggle clasp. Go back through the crimp bead again, pull everything tight and pinch the bead.
