How to make Lemon Fruit Earrings with Miyuki
Fruit jewellery is totally on trend! With this simple technique, you can make these earrings all by yourself, how fun is that? Follow the handy video below, which is for making a bracelet. For the earrings, just make a shorter piece, nice and easy. Once you have the threads attached to the frame, you can make the pattern twice. Start a little at the top with the first earring and when you're done, turn the weaving frame over to start at the top again. This way you can be sure you have enough thread length left over to tie it easily. Do not cut the thread until you have finished both earrings.
The pattern is 22 rows wide and 24 rows long. It can be found as an image. Of course, you can easily make a nice pattern yourself with the BeadTool application.
Used materials:
Weaving frame
Needle
C-lon, we used cream white
Miyuki Delicas 11/0, we used light sky blue, light squash, canary, green, white lined crystal and gold
End caps, for this pattern we used the stainless steel end cap 35x4mm
Jewellery glue
2x Lemon charm
Stainless steel earring hooks
