For the earrings, just make a shorter piece, nice and easy. Once you have the threads attached to the frame, you can make the pattern twice. Start a little at the top with the first earring and when you're done, turn the weaving frame over to start at the top again. This way you can be sure you have enough thread length left over to tie it easily. Do not cut the thread until you have finished both earrings.
