Cut a piece of satin cord that is about 10 cm longer than the desired length of your necklace. You will need this extra piece to tie the cord. Then thread the charm.

Tie the ends of the cord together. Make sure the knot is tight enough to wear the necklace safely around your neck.

For a neater finish, you can apply a small amount of glue to the buttons to prevent them from coming loose, or lightly seal the ends with a lighter.
