Amethyst Neckalce, Bracelet and Earrings
Amethyst is a beautiful purple-colored gemstone that symbolizes strength, protection and wisdom. In this jewelry set I used the oval shape, for a classic look.
With different techniques, you can easily make this jewelry set yourself! You can also choose to use other gemstones from our wide range.
Necklace
For the necklace, cut approximately 55cm. Using a jumpring, attach the clasp to one end and the extension chain to the other. The charm is easily hung on the chain by using a snap on, see the video below.
For the second necklace, cut about 55cm of the satin cord and lay it out on the table. Now cut 50cm of nylon thread and thread a crimp bead. We are now going to make a loop around the satin cord. Count about 10cm from one of the ends of the satin cord and go under the satin cord at that point with the nylon thread. Then go back through the crimp bead and pull the ends of the nylon flush. We are working with double thread for this necklace.
When both ends of the nylon thread are equal, you can pinch the crimp bead closed. Keep a few millimeters away from the satin cord so it has room to slip through. We also work with a crimp bead cover and you will need extra space for this as well. Close the crimp bead cover and start threading the beads. Thread a crimp bead at the end and again loop around the satin cord. This time at the other end. Work the crimp bead away with a hide and then the first part is done.
Finish the satin cord with a slip knot. Watch the video below on how to make this knot.
Bracelet
Cut the nylon a little longer than the desired length. Watch the video below how to make a bracelet on nylon thread. Finally attach the charm using a 4mm jumpring to the bead with eye.
Earrings
Start by making the charms. In total you need four charms. Thread an amethyst bead and spacer bead onto the headpin. Follow this video and make the perfect eye on your charm:
Next, cut a piece of chain from 22 links. Attach one of the charms to the 11th link and the second charm to the bottom link. Finally, attach the earring stud to the top link using a 4mm jumpring.
