Bracelet, Earrings and Necklace of Garnet
Garnets are gemstones that come in a variety of colors, ranging from the deep red - for which they are best known - to orange, yellow, green, pink and purple. Garnet stimulates creativity, courage and inner strength, and helps you work faster and more efficiently.
For this jewelry set, we use the green and red garnet for a beautiful color combination. For the entire set, 1 strand of both beads will be sufficient. Follow the following instructions below to make this set yourself.
Earrings
Start by making all the charms for the earring. Make 14 charms with the red garnet and 5 charms with the green garnet beads (note: these beads can only fit on the head pins with ball, they do not fit on other head pins). See below the video on how to twist the perfect eye. With the green garnet, you need to do this carefully so the beads don't break. Optionally, you can thread only 4 beads so you have more space to turn the eye.
Attach a green garnet charm to a red garnet charm, by bending open the eyelet and attaching it to the charm. Thread all the charms onto the earring, this fits best through the back of the earring.
Repeat all the steps for the other earring and then they are ready to be worn!
Materials used:
Stainless steel hoop earrings Gold 20mm
2x Stainless steel headpin with gold with ball 20mm
Gemstone beads, we used Garnet Nugget Beads and Green Garnet Beads
The Necklace
First make 11 connectors with red garnet beads on head pins: twist an eye at each end and hook 9 of these together to make one long chain. Attach an oval connectors to each end and another loose garnet connectors to it.
Then cut chain pieces of 2x 15 cm and 1x 28 cm. Attach the 15 cm pieces to the outer connectors and add a clasp and extension chain.
For the middle layer, cut 20 cm of nylon thread and attach it to the first connectors with a crimp bead. Thread the beads and attach the thread to the ninth connectors. Add a charm with a snap on hook to this necklace.
Finally, cut 30 cm of chain and attach this to the oval connectors for the final layer. Make a charm with green garnet and attach it via a jumpring to an oval connectors with snap-on. Your necklace is now complete!

Bracelet
Cut 2x a 5cm piece of chain. Use a piece of approx. 20cm of nylon thread and attach it to the link chain with a crimp bead. Start stringing the beads. Again, attach the nylon thread to the other piece of link chain.
Cut two chain pieces of 14 cm each and attach 4 mm jum rings to the ends. Also attach the bracelet with the red garnet beads to this. For the green garnet bracelet, cut 20 cm of nylon thread, attach it with a crimp bead to the same jumpring as the red bracelet. Thread the beads and attach it to a new jumpring, next to the red band.
