Making a Keychain with a Suede Tassel and Cabochon

This key chain is ideal for beginners. In a few steps you have made a key or bag pendant!

With our wide range of suede cord, you can make your own beautiful color combination.

How to make the keychain?:
Start by gluing the cabochon on to the connector. Put it aside to dry and in the meantime cut the suede cord.

Cut 8 pieces of 7cm. Glue all the pieces of suede cord into the end cap, hold all the suede pieces together and push them into the glue. 

Let it dry. You can easily wipe off the glue that is pushed out.

When everything is dry, attach the connector to the ring. Using a 4mm jumpring, attach the made tassel to the connector and your key or bag pendant is finished!

Materials needed:
End cap, we used 8x7mm (no longer avaiable, this or this is a good alternative)
Connector for cabochon, we used oval
Jewelry glue
Suede cord, we used blue
4mm jumpring
Keychain ring, we used 20mm
Cabochon, we used oval Howlite
