How to make a Bracelet Jade
How to make a Bracelet Jade
Jade gemstones come in a variety of beautiful colors, including purple, yellow, orange and in this bracelet: green! You can easily make this yourself with the handy drawing.
Start by cutting a piece of nylon thread about twice as long as the desired length of your bracelet. Then thread four beads, followed by a spacer bead. Repeat this pattern (four beads, one spacer bead) until you reach the desired length that fits snugly on your wrist.
Once you have finished threading the first row of beads, thread a crimp bead and the lobster clasp. Go back through the crimp bead and now thread four new jade beads. Then go through the spacer bead and thread four jade beads again. Keep doing this until you are all the way back to the beginning of the bracelet. While doing this, keep pulling the thread tight so that the pattern stays firm and no loose pieces are visible. Now pinch the crimp bead at the lobster clasp. On the other side, cut the thread, leaving about 5cm. Thread a crimp bead over both threads and then an extension chain and go back through the crimp bead. Tighten this and pinch the bead. Cut off the excess thread and your bracelet is ready.
