Necklace with Fun Charms and Braided Cord

This cheerful braided cord necklace in the cutest of colors brings instant sunshine to your outfit. Adorned with five unique charms, from a golden starfish to a turquoise eye and finished with luxurious gold-tone spacers, this piece of jewelry is not only an eye-catcher, but also super fun to make yourself. Thread loose beads onto head pins and make eyelets on them. Attach each charm to a gold-coloured bead with an eyelet, using a jumpring (so you can easily slide them over the cord). Then thread everything onto the cord until all charms and spacers are incorporated. Finish the end with a gold end cap and a little glue, pinch it firmly shut and finish the necklace with an extension chain and a lobster clasp.

Tips:

• Cut the cord a little longer than needed so you have some slack
• If the cord is a little stiff, you can just light the end with a lighter so it doesn't fray
