Men's Bracelet Making with Turquoise Jasper Leather
This cool bracelet is something totally different from what we are used to. Super simple to make but the special stone makes it a piece of jewelry like never before. Do you know someone who would rock this bracelet!
Materials used:
Real Leather 3mm Black Braided
Natural Jasper Round Link 24x17mm Gold Turquoise
Copper Jewelry Wire Gold Color 0.6mm
Toggle clasp 14x11mm
Ribbon End Gold 8x6mm
Jumpring 4mm
Hasulith jewelry glue
How to make this bracelet:
- First, you measure the leather. The length, of course, depends on the width of the wrist of the person for whom you are making it. You then cut a second piece of leather that is exactly the same length.
- Now put some glue in one of the lace clamps and stick the two strands of leather in it. Once the threads are in, pinch the clamp closed with flat-jaw pliers, but not too firmly yet. You can now put the threads in properly, push them through, and then squeeze all sides of the clamp tightly with the pliers. (Top, bottom and both sides of the clamp!)
- Do the same on the other side of the leather.
- Cut 2 pieces of wire at least 70 cm long. Put one piece through one eye of the Jasper charm.
- Now wrap the wire around one of the leather straps until it is tight and with the thickness you like.
It is very important to make sure that the stone is in the middle of the bracelet! When you have finished winding, cut the wire with about 1cm left. Gently press this piece of wire against the leather strap to make sure nothing sticks out. - Now do the same on the bottom of the charm with the other leather wire.
- Now you are going to attach to 1 lace clasp, with a 4mm jumpring, the snap clasp by opening the jumpring with flat-jaw pliers. You put the ring through the hole of the lace clip and through the hole of the clasp and you squeeze the jumpring closed again.
Voilá your bracelet is ready to be worn :)
